About

Whether you are an athlete looking to achieve certain performance goals, someone looking to maximize their functionality and practice wellness, or you’re rehabilitating an injury, I have got you covered!

Based in the Greater Hamilton Area, I am a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and neurofunctional acupuncture provider practicing out of Heal Health & Performance in Hamilton, and travel for mobile sessions throughout the Golden Horseshoe region.

Not your average RMT.

I graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, where I took part in various clinical internships working with varsity athletes as both a student on-field therapist and a strength and conditioning coach. I then continued my studies with a diploma in massage therapy from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy.

I enjoys helping my patients tap into their adaptive potential and achieve their functional and performance goals. My goal has always been to “fix” my patients - I focus on educating my clients and providing them with everyday tools to help them live injury and pain free.

I take a unique approach to treatment and integrate movement and mobility work into my sessions (it is strongly recommended you wear/ bring shorts and a T-shirt to your sessions for this reason). After conducting a neurofunctional assessment, I use modalities in treatment like cupping, medical acupuncture, myofascial release and joint mobilizations to treat the root of my patient’s dysfunction.

I have worked with various populations in therapeutic and rehabilitative settings, including patients with various neurological conditions, post-surgical groups, post-partum and pregnant women, children, spinal cord injury patients, patients with chronic pain, individuals seeking stress management solutions, as well as patients with sports injuries. I have experience working with professional athletes of the PWHPA, NBA, NHL, CFL and Olympic athletes of team Canada. I keep current in evidence-based research within the field and am a Professor at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy (and Algonquin College, in past) when I am not treating.
